Still showing the Colston Arms sign, the pub is advertising for suggestions for a new name following the anti-racism protests and the toppling of the statue of Edward Colston in 2020 because of his associations with the slave trade. The banner reads: 'The clearly temporarily named Ye olde Pubby Mcdrunkface Suggestions Welcome (obviously)'. The pub is adjacent to the Colston Almshouses.
