St. James church and Church Cottage (Colwall)

Here are two classic buildings in the village of Colwall, and they are situated adjacent to each other. St. James the Great parish church can be seen in the background, which was built in the 12th century with additions by H. Woodyer in 1865. The timber-framed building in front is Church Cottage, built in the late 16th or early 17th century. Both of the buildings are grade II* listed, the church was given its status in March 1967, while the cottage was given its status in September 1984. This is one of my favourite photographs this year since I wanted to take a photograph of this viewpoint back in May 2017, and this was taken on my first visit to Colwall.
