Viewed from a Coventry-Leamington Spa train, a cutting is being formed to take HS2 under the existing line. Beyond the gaggle of machines is the A429 Kenilworth Road and the Canley Brook. I've been told that the line will be closed for 200 hours while a section of track is removed, the cutting is completed by removing the supporting embankment, a new bridge dropped into place and the existing line reconnected: job done! A date for the photographer's diary.
