This electric locomotive, no. 91101 operated by LNER, was originally named City of London when it entered service in 1988 as 91001, but currently bears the iconic Flying Scotsman name. It was being stabled 'warm', i.e. with the pantograph up to keep onboard services on its train running between passenger duties, in Osmondthorpe sidings; see Image for the other end of the train.
