This is the street front. For the garden front, see Image Built in 1792, Austin House, number 4 Austin Street, is an elegant Regency house constructed of coursed rubble stone. The street entrance is one storey higher than the garden entrance. The street front is blank except for a bowed oriel window from the 1st floor and extending up into a dormer. The garden front has divided steps to the porch, above is an arched window topped with a pediment. On both sides of the porch and the central window are tall, shallow, bow windows leading up to the stone slate mansard roof.
