A large number of trees was planted here in early 2022, see also Image The sign explains that it is part of the city council's plan to plant 1250 hectares of new woodland in the next 25 years as part of the response to climate change (not pointing out that at the same time the same council is spending tens of millions of pounds on road traffic improvements).
