My wife came across these entrails on Braid Hills Drive. There was no body with them, but another walker said that when he had passed a couple of hours earlier there had been the carcass of a deer [presumably Roe] at the site, which had now gone. The presumption is that a deer was hit and killed by a road vehicle, and that it was subsequently gralloched [gutted] and the carcass taken away to be skinned and butchered. The rumen was separate, about 1.5m away in the gutter, but the photo of it was not usable.
