Built in the 1930s, The Vinery was open to all but in recent years it suffered from the ravages of weather and vandalism and was closed to the public. As part of the Coastal Park project it has been completely restored with the only changes being the glazed roof, which has not been replaced. The replanting of vines completed the work.
