The premises on the corner of Market Street and Edna Street were originally the Borough Inn and next door was the Church Inn. The Borough Inn became the Nawabi Balti. When it finally closed down it was split into two separate parts. The corner premises became the offices of the Akeeda Group who specialised in money transfers and air travel to the Indian sub-continent Image The other part opened briefly as KeBBQ Image before becoming Freddy's Image Now the offices on the corner have become Fireaway Image The Church Inn Image first became Tyler's Image and then Route 66 Image before becoming the Big Discount Bargain Store Image
