Built ca. 1865 on the site of two previous churches of ca. 1615 and 1763. B-listed (LB16531 http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB16531 ) largely for its Renaissance bellcote from 1644. The west side of the bellcote is inscribed M / DR / M / JR for David Robertson and John Robertson, the father-and-son ministers from 1599-1637 and 1637-ca. 1683, respectively.
