Cross in Yatton's St Mary's churchyard

The cross is thought to date from around 1500 at a cost of £8, and has been restored in 1919. At that time the shaft and lantern were lost, so efforts were made to replace them with a new version; the monument was then dedicated as the war memorial until a new one was created by Rock Road.
