One of the community hats on the Hats Off To Denton Sculpture Trail inside the Tameside Wellness Centre. Active Tameside staff as well as the Tameside Wellness Centre itself are the inspiration behind The Wellness Hat. The hat includes just some of the activities on offer at the centre, from strength classes, to yoga and swimming, all with a focus on wellbeing. The design is by Amina, a Tameside based artist and surface pattern designer who is passionate about arts and wellbeing. Her artwork is full of bright colours and inspired by nature. She enjoys experimenting within her artwork by combining different art mediums, such as hand drawings and photography. Amina has worked on a variety of art commissions from poetry, digital art and workbooks. This is the first arts trail she has worked on.
