Former church and war memorial

Built in 1888, the old parish church was designed by David Thomson, a Glasgow architect. The new church at the corner of Lochiel Drive replaced it. The old church has since been converted into residential property. The war memorial is in memory of the men of the village who gave their lives in the two world wars.
