The daffodils in the bank on the right are rather early for the village's locally famous annual Daffodil Weekend (due to take place on 19-20 March 2022 after a two-year gap caused by Covid-19). Grade II listed Bacon's Farmhouse dates from the late 15th or early 16th century. The brick chimney stack on the gable end is impressive.
