Opened in 1860 by the Oswestry & Newtown Railway, this became a junction with the Shrewsbury & Welshpool Railway in 1862. The station closed in 1960. View north towards Oswestry (straight on, track now lifted) and Shrewsbury, (curving right), from a foot crossing. The station was in the apex of where the lines joined. No trace apparently remains.
