The new bridge carries the Inner ring road over the Sheffield to Leeds main line as the Inner Ring Road diverges between Moor Road and the slip road onto the M621 Motorway. The bridge beams are of Cor-ten steel , which will never require painting. The road embankment on the left is supported by a reinforced earth retaining wall.
