Looking downstream along the River Torridge, with the two Bideford bridges in the background. The nearer one is the Bideford Long Bridge, dating from the 14th or 15th Century (although since widened) and beyond is the Torridge Bridge, opened in 1987 and carrying the A39 Bideford bypass over the river.
