According to the plaque, the chimney was part of a wheelwright's forge and smithy, making parts for the adjacent Welch's Coach Manufactory (now demolished). The clock (foreground) is the Nantwich Millennium Clock by Paul Beckett (see Image). The Cocoa Yard, formerly Cocoa House Yard, is named for the nearby Cocoa House on Pillory Street, built during the Victorian temperance movement; it is now a small shopping arcade (see Image)
