The American Embassy at Nine Elms near Battersea was opened in December 2017, having moved from its previous location in Grosvenor Square. It is surrounded by a large moat, as can be seen at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6945860. This is the one that President Trump refused to visit as it was south of the river and in Battersea. Larry, the Downing Street cat, tweeted how upset he was as he came from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and there was nothing wrong with Battersea.
