A "fallen idle" on Gloucestershire footpath RNE30 as it nears Clearwell Road. The substantial stone slab is the width of the stile, and has been re-purposed. A usual configuration would have been upright as a stock barrier, between a stone gatepost and the wall. e.g. as with Image
