Helensburgh's war memorial is situated in the walled garden of Hermitage Park. Unveiled in June 1922, the impressive memorial and reflecting pond was designed by local architect Alexander Nisbet Paterson. The memorial is Category A listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB34872.
