According to the OS benchmark database there is a cutmark on the south face of the church. The lower stonework is quite weather worn, and it is difficult to identify without any doubt, a benchmark. However, there may be a horizontal datum line cut into the 3rd course of stone. This mark does match the grid reference and the database description.
