Shame about the parked car, it is making some of the fine detail difficult to see. I've seen the avenue which continues across the road, marked as The Silkin Way, which is a local walking and cycling route https://www.telford.gov.uk/info/20465/walking/5220/silkin_way_walking_route named after the Lewis Silkin, the Minister responsible for the post-war Labour Government's New Towns Act, 1946. Telford came late to that party in 1966.
