This attractive Grade I listed church has 13th-, 14th- and 15th-century features and an extremely interesting interior. Its most celebrated Rector was Matthew Parker, Master of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and the Archbishop of Canterbury who commissioned the Bishops' Bible and had the principal hand in drawing up the Book of Common Prayer. His exceptional manuscript collection is housed in Corpus Christi's Parker Library.
