Having spent a while waiting to (hopefully) see a kingfisher, I decided to head home. As I worked my way along the River Wandle, I noticed a distant flash of blue and orange. I was probably spotted, as the kingfisher flew to a perch further away. I reduced the distance and managed a single photograph, before she flew off downstream.
