The Grade I listed https://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=en&id=9450 Guildhall dates from 1767. Various alterations were carried out over the years. The clock was inserted in 1848 and the weathercock added in 1862. It was used as a Magistrates Court until 2016 but now most of the building has been converted into a restaurant. In front it is a war memorial for the Boer War.
