The new sign is surmounted by a representation of a Norfolk Wherry and above the illustrations are baskets which represent a past industry with ears of corn representative of farming. The pictorial supports display, on the left, the old windmill bathed in sunshine, the old railway station, and the old fire engine. On the right is St Mary's church, the bank and the Baptist church.
