A plaque on the tower seen at Image The plaque was originally at a model of the tower. Quex Park is a 19th century manor house in an estate of some 250 acres. The park is home to the Powell-Cotton Museum which has collections of stuffed exotic animals from Africa and other African artefacts, European firearms, European and Asian cutting weapons, European and Chinese porcelain, and important archaeological finds from Thanet and East Kent.
