The road in front of the houses in the B3006. I'm not local but I suspect that this was once the A3 before the relatively recent bypass out of shot behind the houses was constructed. The viewpoint is about 90 metres south of the roundabout on the A3. Update 13 August 2008: since drafting the above I have heard from a contributor that in fact '...the stretch of B3006 at this point was formerly part of the A325 from Bagshot to the old A3 at Petersfield (the A325 now terminates on the new A3 near Greatham, north of here). The old A3 between Liphook and Petersfield via Hill Brow is now the B3070.' I am grateful for the information.
