Upper Black Hill Field/Lower Black Hill Field

The name of the fields according to Buxted's 1840 tithe map that have been merged to form a larger unit. Located on the south eastern slope of Black Hill, Upper Black Hill field was adjacent to the bridleway whilst Lower Black Hill Field bordered King's Standing Gill.
