The milestone is located at the junction with A47 Peterborough Road against a stone wall on the verge on the north side of the road. Parish of Morcott (Rutland District). Cast iron post, Rutland iron casting design, erected by the Deeping & Morcott turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO / STAMFORD / 8 / (MILES) : : TO / UPPINGHAM / 4 / (MILES) : MORCOTT Milestone Society National ID: RU_UPSF04
