The Debenhams store in the Old Market Shopping Centre closed in May 2021, since Boohoo bought the company for £55 million in January 2021. Debenhams relaunched online as Debenhams Online Limited on 12th April 2021, and although the building here still shows the Debenhams text, the building has been empty for many months.
