The Fiddleford Inn was the home of the Fiddleford maltster. The maltster added malt to barley to brew beer and so the Fiddleford Inn hosted a brewery in the 18th & 19th Century. The building dates from around 1740 and in its time it has also been a malt house and an old coaching stop.
