Located on the ground floor of an anonymous block on Station Road, this Wetherspoon's pub takes its name from a much older coaching inn that became a private residence in the 1820s and was demolished in about 1926. It is good to see the old name revived but the modern establishment will bear little resemblance to its predecessor.
