470 metres away, and seen with telephoto assistance from the Secret Garden on the Library of Birmingham, the tower block is 103 Colmore Row. It is the tallest office building in the city, completed in 2021. The block has 26 floors and is 108 metres in height. It has been built on the site of the former Natwest Tower, itself only dating from 1975. Things aren't "built to last" any more, or so it seems.
