Footpath approaching Spout House Lane, Hove Edge

This footpath is shown on the 1850 six-inch map. It was a field path for most of the distance from Halifax Road (then called South Edge Lane) and was a wider track from here to Spout House Lane. It was later surfaced with concrete and used as an entrance to the Non-slip Stone Works.
