Tracing the routes of High Voltage power lines can be fascinating. These appear to come from the switching station at Thornton (Bradford) and run into Lancashire, but avoiding the centre of Halifax. A dominating feature of the landscape. The saw-tooth nature of the Pennine escarpments is visible on the horizon.
