Sir Thomas White was a significant figure in 16th century England, noted for founding St John's College, Oxford and as Mayor of London. He was also a benefactor to Coventry and his name is commemorated on this otherwise unremarkable street of terraced houses. The one green house does add a splash of colour, however.
