The A395 thunders through this hamlet (see Image); few drivers seemed to be heeding the 40mph speed limit. The hamlet straddles a gridline; just behind the camera is SX2684. The left turn between the buildings is to Trewen, and the main road is climbing towards Laneast Downs.
