Stonebridge Park aqueduct

The Stonebridge Park aqueduct carries the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal across the A406 North Circular Road. The original aqueduct was opened in 1933 and consisted of two arches across the new North Circular road. The newer, larger structure dates from 1993 and has a single arch in order to accommodate a widened North Circular. The Middlesex coat of arms on the centre island of the aqueduct is from the original 1933 structure.
