34067 waits at the station platform at the head of the Golden Arrow Statesman rail tour, while 375818 approaches. Later an electrical failure would severely delay the tour's departure from Canterbury with the result that the tour terminated at Paddington at around midnight and passengers for the Midlands were conveyed home by coach and taxi.
