This caught my eye was we walked past. At first I thought it may be an old long abandoned cooking cauldron from a ruin nearby. But I think it was a kind of visible manhole cover or drain cover. It appears to have covered the round drainage cover adjacent. I may be wrong. I paid only a cursory attention I must admit, as my walking chums waited nearby. I can sort of recall seeing these before. But it is a faint memory.
