The Woodall Services Area lies between junctions 30 and 31 of the M1 motorway near Sheffield. It was opened in 1968 by Trust House Forte (rebranded as Welcome Break in 1986 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welcome_Break#Split_from_Trusthouse_Forte ). It takes its name from the nearby village of Woodall.
