The route of the former Carmarthenshire Tramroad left the cycle track (former railway trackbed) to veer right at the concrete posts. The horse tramroad operated from 1803 to 1830 and was the earliest operating public railway. The concrete posts mark where a footpath crossed from one side of the former railway to the other.
