This 1970s cul de sac of houses was built on the site of Old Lakenham Hall. Until this time, the hall was the headquarters of Norfolk Scouts. The main building was used for meetings, and Pack Holidays, and housed a Scout Shop and equipment store. Camps and training courses were held in the grounds. A new Scout campsite and headquarters was built at Eaton Vale, off Church Lane, Eaton.
