And the entrance Lower Hood Cottages. I think this may have been the entrance to Hood Fair, held here in the 1970s and 1980s. Seen across the junction of the A384 with the lane to Velwell. The trees on the far side birder the River Dart below Riverford Bridge. The conifer wood behind is Abraham's Wood.
