The number of static caravans in this area, spread across several holiday parks, is astonishing. As well as the parks there are caravan dealerships together forming a significant local industry. This view down from the footbridge over the North Wales Main Line railway gives an idea of how tightly they are packed in. The designs invariably incorporate a picture window at one end of the van but only a lucky few will have much to see out of it.
