Seat and table beside the Old railway line

The wooden seat and table are situated beside the old trackbed of the Blane Valley line. A plaque on the back of the seat says: In memory of Jim Craig (1923-2013) an engine driver on the Blane Valley line- 'the wee happy railway' Jim Craig worked as both a fireman and a driver on the Blane Valley line during and after the Second World War. He later retired to Strathblane.
