Metal plate attached to stone post by the A417, in parish of LECHLADE (COTSWOLD District), just East of entrance to Claydon Fields, by the road, on South side of road. Cirencester iron plate, erected by the Cirencester to St John's Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads: CIRENᴿ / 11 / LONDON / 79 Milestone Society National ID: GL_LG79
