A little island on Pomphrey Hill

The B4465 has a small deviation, presumably a traffic calming feature. In fact it is a pretty modern bit of road that was created when the A4174 was built a couple of decades ago. The original road was a little way to the south of the 'island'. An old house (named Oakleigh) was demolished during the works.
